Trying to find out this 80s horror movie about people stuck in ghetto projects building?

Trying to find a movie from the 80s, Group of people are stuck in some
ghetto projects building and theres a gang of demons at war with
another gang.... they cant get out of the building... the little kid
escapes through the basement window..... Its like enemy territory
except with demons... anyone have an ideas ???
